Just because I didn't see any need to "meet" you on your trip up here this summer is no reason for you to behave like an ass, Wayne. Your snarky behavior here is all the disincentive for a meeting that is needed. A *real* creative writer would be careful not to copy the phrasing and style of the *real* author. *Who do you think you are fooling Harold? Have the people at eternal-september.org been informed that you are violating their terms of service? Sorry, W'hine. I'm not Paul and I'm not Harold. Are you Loogy or Scotty? You should be more careful and not copy their "phrasing and style." Or, should I say, lack of style. I thought I was loogy? I thought I was Harry? You misspelled "hairy" D'Plume. Unless you were the recent recipient of a full body shave, then hairy you still are. |

Wow, I didn't know that voicing an opposing opinion showed a sign of hateful paranoia. Why don't you leave the 'striking ' to JPS and Frogwatch. Well that really couldnt' be fair, because Frog actually does put forth a boating post occasionally. Tim, I don't strike because other's thoughts make me nervous about my own beliefs. *I strike because I don't suffer fools lightly and there are a gaggle of fools frequenting rec.boats. *Most of them are in my bozo bin but I still occassionally see their comments. Most of these idiots supported Bush's wars, think Obama is a muslim, think liberals are out to destroy the country. *They deserve a good thrashiing for their willful ignorance. *I'm standing by to oblige. So, by using D'Plume's logic, this makes you king of fools! |

I'm standing by to oblige. Ok, so... what is it that you deserve? I'm open to learning but not from a pack of blowhard fools who subscribe to anything the likes of Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck preach. There are plenty here who I also disagree with but they're not prickly assholes flinging wild statements. I enjoy those exchanges because they can and have expanded my own thinking. And, as far as boats are concerned, there are many who have significantly more experience than I so most of my interest is in listening rather than spouting. Interesting, but a lot of those experienced boaters, are deemed as 'prickly a$$holes' by a few of your compatriots due to *their opposing political opinions. isn't that criteria also balanced into your consideration? Like I said, there are folks here who I disagree with on a fundamental level who I still respect for the way they carry themselves and I act accordingly. *For those that deserve contempt for their willful ignorance and idiotic bluster, I've got barrels to share. So far, you have shown that you respect no one except, those who would stave by your ideology. |
