You boys really need to stop egging on Little Snotty; he needs to be looking for a job, not digging himself into a deeper hole. Nobody is egging Scotty on. A court order requesting that the logs and or data be retained until a potential lawsuit has completed is normal. The organization will have to retain the data or they will be subject to sanction by the court for not following the courts order. They may even impound any computers of the individual who is the primary subject of the lawsuit. Deleting files on a disk doesn't do anything to cover your tracks. |
