Slavery is still practiced around the world. Why am I not surprised that you are not concerned with the condition of man outside the USA? My comments were about the United States. My comments were not about the rest of the world. Since my comments were limited, you have no idea whether my concerns extend to the rest of the world. Your response was not logical. Are you pro slavery outside the USA? We can change the negative impacts corporations have on society. Why would we want to devolve to an agrarian society? Why do you want to return to the days of 18th century? Again, your comment is not logical. I offered no suggestion that we go back to an agrarian society. I do believe we can control corporations. You are always obtuse. There was nothing obtuse about my statements. When discussing making slavery illegal, I clearly stated "this country." Perhaps you don't know what obtuse means. You obviously have never taken a rigorous course in logic or participated on a debate team. You would have been laughed out of the former and kicked off the latter. You have a teabagger's approach to adult discussion. You have a hard time with commitment don't you. You're talking nonsense...again. The subject I raised was directed at your inability to think logically and to debate. Commitment? Commitment to what, in the context I raised? Is your inability to engage in responsible, adult discussion an outgrowth of your ducking out on formal education or your time in the marines, or both? |

"rigorous course in logic" Translation: Attempting to learn something that is completely foreign to him. Parse his other statement. Is he inferring that he was a member of a debate team and that he actually debated? His closing remark was just too weird to comment on. -- Ziggy® |

If the company is doing well, you share in the gains just like all of the other owners. If it's not doing well you vote with your telephone and sell the stock. Essentially you just fired the management. Doing well only refers to one aspect of a corporation's performance, typically. The problem is that corporations have become the actual government in many countries, such as this one, and corporate actions are destroying the middle class. Really? Corporations are the government here? Do they maintain the military? Make laws? That's about the most stupid statement you've made about the U.S.A. and everyone here knows you hate this country. You CAN leave you know? |

He carried the 3x5 cards for the members of the team. This from a few mooks who couldn't have made it through a two year course of study at a community college? |

The last six months have been very good to me. I have an unrealized gain in one company of about 45%. Thus, Obama is destroying the country... Your words? |
