Guess what...... this national insurance company rates my RAV4 as a 'TRUCK'...... that's right, a truck. So much for the know nothings in here. ~~ Snerk ~~ So? They rate my Suburban as a Station Wagon.... They're clueless... At least one won't insure my Moto Guzzi because it's a 'racing bike'. You're kidding??? No, probably not. There was a considerable difference in insurance premiums from my 1989 Lincoln Mar VII (Bill Blass edition) with a standard 5.0 (302), and my 1992 Mark VII "special edition" * The only difference in the two cars besides one year is that the latter was also an "LSC" which had the 5.0 HO engine. * Wife and i both had safe driver discounts on premiums but the LSC was still substantially higher. Nope, not kidding. USAA stopped insuring my bike back in the early 90's. Now I use Progressive. hmmm. interesting. |
