Pretty good thought that even though new boat sales are at a really low eb, One cans till support jobs and the economy by adding options or making upgrades to what you already have. That's what I plan to do with the Marquis... ====== Me too. "Recycling" my 1967 Morgan! Very true when you consider the cost of a new boat. Amazing what they are asking for them. Yeah, new baots are high. And *if you use Ebay as any kind of a barometer, people are posting *used auctions with high starting bids and reserves on top of that. No more starting with a buck and working your way up to the reserve or making it an open war. Nothing like scaring off bidders that way. And that's for about any boat unless it's the charity auctions and most of those are parts junkers anyhow. I've about given up on eBay. The sellers of too many items are asking for "retail" prices on their reboxed "B" goods. Yep! Not counting inflated shipping etc. |
