Went out yesterday with an old buddy to fish the ICW creeks north of the
St. Johns River. Caught a mess of reds and a couple of flounder, but no
seatrout. He has the perfect boat for inshore fishing hereabouts, a
Carolina Skiff with a 90 hp Honda and a trolling motor.
Tossed live shrimp and plastics with a 5' rod, small spinning reel and 6
pound test. Heading out offshore from St. Augustine in about an hour.
