Default Can't leaved good enough alone....

It's sad to see some people can't stay out of the squabble and insult.

C'mon. This is a 'boating' newsgroup . Is it really that difficult to
keep it that way?

I've bozo-binned the ID Spoofers who now post here just as obnoxiously
with new handles. One of them doesn't like being ignored, so he's ID
Spoofing again. It's part of their juvenile delinquent syndrome, with
the emphasis on *juvenile.*

I've also asked several posters to scale back or stop their insulting
posts, and so have others here. It's worked on some of them but not on
others.

BTW, to help alleviate your drought, I'm offering a pint bottle of water
with each truckload of leaves hauled away from my yard. And unlike
Herring, who only has oak leaves to give away, I have oak, elm, Chinese
dogwood, pear, plum, sycamore, birch and about a dozen other varieties
of tree leaves included in our special holiday assortments.

Free.

I think that it's ridiculous that the same beat keep going on and
on... Especially that there's plenty who will take the soured bait
and go right for the fray.

Now, concerning leaves....I usually hit 'em with a lawn mower to
mulch 'em good and let mother nature take their course.

Our leaves seem to be toxic to grass, even when they are mulched up. So
I make one direction passes with the lawn tractor to move them into the
woods where they can rot and help form more topsoil.

We got a start on raking & bagging leaves on the weekend but the rains
returned when we were only a third of the way through.
I say 'we', but it was my wife doing the labour work... I was busy
winterizing the boat. ;-)
BTW it was hard to find the big clear leaf bags at this point... I had to
go to COSTCO and buy a box of 60. That should do me for a half dozen years.

You should ship those bags of leaves to the treeless Americanos who post
here! :)

The eight holes in my back yard, the holes for the deck footers, are
filling up with leaves. The concrete guy will be here today or
tomorrow...if he leaves the leaves in the holes, they'll become fossils.
A million years from now, when aliens land here, they'll discover those
fossils and wonder what manner of beings populated this planet. That's
my take on it.

I suggest you ask the offending parties why they persist in their
insulting behavior. My solution is simply to bozo-bin them. Your
solution is whatever works for you.

We've all just witnessed some of the most offensive **** I've ever seen posted on usenet. Yet you've

As you with Scotty.
He likes to tweak Slammer and the whole group ends up suffering.
It appears to me that more is going on over at other newsgroups and spilling
back here.
