However, the crusty old neo-cons gave up boating to save god and country
from whatever imagined threat and posted and spoofed and posted and spoofed
until nobody was left but them and a few hard boiled liberals.

So, there you have it. A bunch of non-boaters talking their brand of
politics to save the world from the bad guys.

Maybe if enough people show up like yourself, you can drown out the angry
old boatless malcontents and make this group about boating again.

Spoofed? What do you mean by spoofed? I did see a lot of fairly snarly
posts from a couple of folks who don't seem to be boaters, so I skipped
over most of the rest of the stuff with their names on them. A few of
them seem to be "engaged" in grudge matches, certainly not the sort of
behavior you'd expect from adults usually.
