Sounds like you've never been out of the country. Customs in other countries are often a very strange concept to us. Things we take for granted as being normal can outrage people in other countries. Ever ridden the train in Japan? It'd probably really **** you off. They don't believe in "personal space". Don't even attempt to touch a Thai person on the head. You'll make an instant enemy. Publicizing it will get Americans killed. Americans will get killed whether it occurs or not. More Americans will get killed and it'll be Terry Jones's fault. It sounds like you're OK with that. |
