I have this quaint notion that a news goup named rec.boats is suposed
to be mostly about boats and boating.

Quaint indeed. I took some snaps today of a great little molded mahogany
runabout from the 1950s, a whirlwind, in pretty good shape.
I'll post them elsewhere for actual boaters who like such things.

I'm not interested in photos of grandkids on boats, or kids riding
motorcycles slowly, or posts of chicken recipes, or religious or
military symbolism, or in posters here who have no real interest in
boats or boating, or crazy Canadians who think they understand economics.

Why don't you post a list of subjects you deem acceptable to post to
rec.boats.
If it's reasonable and you're sincere, we'll try to work with you. Deal?

Obviously you ARE interested in... "photos of grand kids on boats, or
kids riding motorcycles slowly, or posts of chicken recipes, or
religious or military symbolism, or in in posters here who have no
real interest in boats or boating, or crazy Canadians who think they
understand economics."

Otherwise, Herr Krause, you would have nothing to whine about.

What he does have an interest in are posts about replacing patio door.

Please post your patio door experiences.
