Looks sort of like the old tire bubble balancer. But no level on
the
top.

Because I don't do any mechanical work of any kind, even though I've
taken mechanical engineering courses, I shouldn't know what that is.
BUT, I watched my mechanic doing the maintenence on my push
lawnmower.
That object is to balance the lawn mower blade after sharpening.

I am not sure which Harry this is but the answer is right.

I'm curious - how do you balance a blade after sharpening?

Well I'll be danged - never thought of balancing the blade after
sharpening.

http://www.amazon.com/MaxPower-33907.../dp/B000FJTVSI

Never mind. :)

I didn't know there was a do-dad for home handymen to use.
I always balance my blades on a screwdriver shaft. It the two sides can
point east & west, I've taken the right amount off each side.

Maybe they don't have such modern sophisticated and refined things up
there, little buddy. I sure am glad you're back, I was getting raked
over the coals by people that just don't believe the amazing things I
and my parents have done. Except you. You believe me, huh?

I believe you are a very unsuccessful spoofer.

Never really had blades sharpened to tell the truth. I put a new set
of blades on every Spring - they last all summer into the Fall and I
change them again.

I can see why you would have to balance the blade after sharpening,
I've just never had to do it.

And well you shouldn't! It would be a pain in the ass to balance "after
sharpening". I balance while sharpening...

I could just walk two blocks over and get a professional to sharpen my
blade, but they want $10.00 or so.

One of those...

It's bad on the grass to cut it with a dull blade...gives it jagged
edges, frizzies so to speak. Hell, it takes only ten minutes to hit the blade
with a file, unless you've got one of those lawnmowers like what's his name with
three or four blades to cut your five acres.,

Sounds like you should get a good pair of scissors and cut the blades
individually. I might cut my grass for the third time this season
tomorrow, or I may just go to the track with The Mouse again

I was going to ask one of his buds here to donate a tube of K-Y so
Herring could shove it up his butt with a bit less discomfort, but
flajim and larry refused to share.

It was a suggestion for an anal-retentive like John and you.
