Default 1oz diesel fuel to 10gal of regular unleaded

1oz diesel fuel to 10gal of regular unleaded is what the man said, reduces
hydrocarbons and peps up your performance, was on the local news tonight,
the guy has a patient on the formula but said he gives its use freely to the
general public.

I've ehard of that. There's a local guy that carries a quart oil
container will diesel in it and when he fills his car or pickup, he
puts the diesel in first then tops the tank.

I've been running 2-stroke 50:1 mix in my Briggs lawnmower and it's
been runing fine. no plug fouling and I like the idea of a bit of cyl
wall lube too. I don't know if there's a performance difference or
not. it's a 5hp lawnmower so I can't seem to notice any difference in
performance.

I wouldn't. 1oz probably isn't enought o do much harm, but I doubt it
would do any good.

Might try mixing some nitromethane and hydrazene in the tank.

I tried the nitromethane and it didn't work. When I was a kid I had a
Hodaka Ace 100 trail bike and I thought "real racers burn
nitromethane!" so I poured about half a can of cox model airplane
fuel int he tank.

lets just say it didn't run very well.

I often wondered but never tried it.
I remember the Dragsters ran the combination for a little while.
The fuel tanks were on the front then. You could watch the clear fumes
rrise from the cap. Once it stopped the stuff had formed a class A
explosive...not a good thing.
They poured the two, into the tank, as close to the race time as
possible. i can't rememer any incidents, right off but I'm sure there
were a couple of unexpected detonations.
you've heard the hammer, of a real hemi,...the bark of alcohol and the
detonation of nitro? That mix was a little more robust.
They burn so much nitro I don't see how the pistons have any room to
compress.

Only if I wanted to go very fast for a short period of time and didn't
mind a serious overhaul.

The supercharger makes up the difference. It's amazing how much it
costs to get that kind of horsepower in a modern drag engine. It also
amazes me that the blower can pull up to 400 hp, and the engine still
puts out about 12,000! Not very long of course, and they also will
run through the nitromethane at the rate of about 30 gallons in 6
seconds. You can't pour it out of a bucket that fast.
