I wouldn't. 1oz probably isn't enought o do much harm, but I doubt it
would do any good.

Might try mixing some nitromethane and hydrazene in the tank.

I tried the nitromethane and it didn't work. When I was a kid I had a
Hodaka Ace 100 trail bike and I thought "real racers burn
nitromethane!" *so I poured about half a can of cox model airplane
fuel int he tank.

lets just say it didn't run very well.

Anyhow, the daeth knell for the little bike was that instead of two
cycle oil mix, I thought "real racers use castor oil!" Well with none
of that available, I went to the cupboard and got some of moms Canola
cooking oil. Mixed it up about 40:1, poured it in, and a-w-a-a-y we
go!

For about 45 seconds

That took care of it, And I didn't have to worry about using nitro or
vegetable oil for motorcycle fuel anymore.

I often wondered but never tried it.
I remember the Dragsters ran the combination for a little while.
The fuel tanks were on the front then. You could watch the clear fumes
rrise from the cap. Once it stopped the stuff had formed a class A
explosive...not a good thing.
They poured the two, into the tank, as close to the race time as
possible. i can't rememer any incidents, right off but I'm sure there
were a couple of unexpected detonations.
you've heard the hammer, of a real hemi,...the bark of alcohol and the
detonation of nitro? That mix was a little more robust.
They burn so much nitro I don't see how the pistons have any room to
compress.

The supercharger makes up the difference. It's amazing how much it
costs to get that kind of horsepower in a modern drag engine. It also
amazes me that the blower can pull up to 400 hp, and the engine still
puts out about 12,000! Not very long of course, and they also will
run through the nitromethane at the rate of about 30 gallons in 6
seconds. You can't pour it out of a bucket that fast.

Takes one cylinder to run the blower. They are putting out about 8000 hp,
and 1000 goes to the blower. They are running near hydrolock with all the
air and fuel in the cylinder.

I've ehard of that. There's a local guy that carries a quart oil
container will diesel in it and when he fills his car or pickup, he
puts the diesel in first then tops the tank.

I've been running 2-stroke 50:1 mix in my Briggs lawnmower and it's
been runing fine. no plug fouling and I like the idea of a bit of cyl
wall lube too. I don't know if there's a performance difference or
not. it's a 5hp lawnmower so I can't seem to notice any difference in
performance.

The guy was on Channel 3 news, I think he lives in williamson co..
here is something like it,
http://inventorspot.com/articles/new...issions__32595

I saw some where ( the actual scanned image) that one of the small 4cycle
makers back in the day would give an extra warrenty to an engine if you used
2 cycle oil with your gas. I use 50:1 all the time in my lawn mowers, and I
always have fresh boat gas and good running lawn mowers,

I wonder what that diesel would do to your catalytic converter?

apparently nothing, I talked this subject around at the boat shop this
morning and to my surprise its a well know fix down georgia way, cleans up
the emissions and get clunkers with bad cats through there emissions test.

this link has some insight,

You could ask ME little buddy. I've taken several mechanical engineering
courses. You do believe me don't you?

Poor dumb loogy...stupid, coward, and fights with little girls.

I've asked before, spoofer, who's "loogy"?

A guy like you....running eternal september, fool.
