JFK was not a war hero. Good family changed the fact he should have
been court martialed for the PT109 sinking. He screwed up! As to his
dad. Joe made his fortune via importing scotch when it was illegal in
the USA and most by being one of the stock market manipulators that
caused the '29 crash. He cashed out just before the crash. Was a very
astute player. Paid attention to his money, unlike some people. His
daddy and mayor Daily made him POTUS. got more votes in Obama land than
there were voters. As a president, he was not very good. Really
accomplished not much good while he was alive. Caused the Cuban Missile
crisis and turned the Bay of Pigs in to a disaster. We probably would
not have escalated Viet Nam if he lived, that was the LBJ disaster.
