I just rebuilt my 40 year old Risers over the winter. Soaking them in Pickling Vinegar worked great to clean them out. After that, I scored out the cracks very slightly with the Dremel, and put a nice coat of JB Weld over top, followed by a coat of Tremclad white. The finishing touch was to paint the Exhaust Stubs with High Heat Enamel. They do look nice now. |
