I suppose the main election will tell. But, whatever... |

The main election will indeed tell. Not a chance in hell he get 75,000 votes that voted Dem. More likely moderate Reps will cross over to vote for the moderate Dem rather than the loonitarian. His rhetoric is "take our country back" which is white man code for "we ain't about to let them negroes run our country." |

It's really a referendum on Mitch McConnell. He must be quaking in his boots. Now he's trying to make nice with Paul. |

Long as we have this suck hole 2 party system we'll have the same insane partisan antics we have now with the bullies on the right and the limpdicks on the left. The DNC and GOP want you all to stay in line and you do it very well. Idiots on both sides have anyone that doesn't want to fit the mold labeled as nuts, crazy, loony, etc. |

I don't think so...he conceded and said he would work to help elect Sestak. Sestak may be a stronger candidate in the general election than Specter might have been. I was pleased with the results in the 12th Congressional District in Pennsylvania, John Murtha's old district. The GOP poured a million plus bucks in that district race and still lost. And Bill Halter has a chance to turn out Blanche Lincoln in Arkansas. If the good citizens of Kentucky want a loonitarian to represent them, well, Rand Paul is their guy. :) - - The Tea Party's teabaggers are just the Republican base by another name. There's still a good possibility that he'll lose in the general election. He actually came in 3rd in the votes. http://results.enr.clarityelections....n/summary.html If he runs on his previous statements and the nutso loonytarian platform, he may well lose the general election. Still, kentuckians are used to loonyfringers in their U.S. Senate seats. -- The Tea Party's teabaggers are just the Republican base by another name. |
