i would have voted for him if sestak wasnt around. specter's 80, and
has had cancer...we dont need an 86 yr old fossil in the senate. and
toomey, according to 1 analysis, is the 3rd most right wing
legistlator since 1995...even to the right of jesse helms.

Fortunately the people of PA don't have to make that choice. It was nice
that he switched parties, and I suppose in the scheme of things he would be
considered a moderate, but his behavior during the Thomas confirmation
hearings, esp. his treatment of Anita Hill, was not something for which I
and others could forgive.
