Apparently at the moment the mapping programs are more developed and more featured on the "Android" based cell phones, as opposed to the iPhone cell phones. Might be enough to motivate me to trade up my flip phone to an Android phone. :) I have Verizon's android phone and the GPS features using Google navigation are very well implemented. They have a car mount that automatically initiates "car" mode, including maps, navigation, access to your contacts, etc. I use my contacts file to input destinations before leaving the house. Very useful. |
