It seems to me it would be exceedingly stupid to deliberately run a water-cooled engine without water cooling. Depends on how long you run the engine and what you are doing with it. A 9 second race with 20 seconds warmup and staging, will not burn up the engine. Especially with a heat asorbing material in the water jackets. |
