I've seen pics of the 18' scorption with it's factory bimini and it really looked sweet. We have several canvas shops here and I have watched the process. They use visqueen for the pattern. That way they can see what they are doing when they fit it to the frame. They pin it up and make the marks with a sharpie pen. This gets transferred to the canvas and then they sew it up. The top I have actually zips onto the frame so it is quick to take off and store. I keep it in a dock box when I am not using it. Good idea to store it that way. Even with the quality material, i'm sure the sun and humidity can reek havoc on it it if you left it up in the sun most of the time. |
