There's no 'h'. If he weren't such a **** of a human being, I'd consider letting him park his trailer on our spit of land next to the Shenandoah. It's got 'lectricity; a fire pit; a masonry storage building (with a nice double bed, refrigerator and small stove); an actual, union-built brick outdoor grill, and a canoe. I have several friends with land out there, Loogy. Several years ago, we bought the piece on which stumpy used to sit...remember stumpy? Well, there's a small cabin and drain field there now...stumpy was bulldozed out and...sadly...burned up. Even in death, though, stumpy was smarter than you are. -- http://tinyurl.com/ykxp2ym |

The river is up, sparkling and cold, and the smallies, I hear, are biting. You guys should really get together for a beer with Obama. I bet you will find the others are really pretty nice guys. BTW are you sure these are "union built" and not CCC camp built? A lot of those Blue Ridge/Smoky mountain things are depression era public works projects. That is particularly true if this is native stone work. A ride down the Blue Ridge trail is a time capsule back to the days when there were real masons, not just guys slapping block to the line. (although that is a skill in itself if you can go fast with a good result) I've met herring. He's a racist asshole. His wife, though, was very nice. I was referring to *our* union-built outdoor grill, not a CCC project grill. It was built by a friend of mine, who happens to be an active bricklayer who works only for contractors who are signatory to the union contract. He uses our cabin and shed, and in addition to helping me build the shed, built the outdoor grill for all of us one weekend last year. It's just a simple little outdoor grill. I've been trying to get him to build a brick outhouse (just for show - we have plumbing now), but so far...no go, so to speak. Oh...there are plenty of "real" masons around today. -- http://tinyurl.com/ykxp2ym |

What's interesting is that he gets to share a double bed with his friends when he goes out there shooting and canoing with them. How gay can that be? |

Nice little campground by Stoney Creek, with a great Italian restaurant, Sal's, just a few minutes walk to downtown. http://tinyurl.com/y8rcxfo There were eight rigs there from our group of eleven, so there was just the right amount of people to have a good get-together around a campfire. This is where the group has it's first campout every spring. |
