Once hauled for painting, turns out my 30 yr old sailboat needs a new
prop strut. Old one had finally corroded enough that it cracked. I sorta suspected this as I had looked at it when I dove on it last year. 30 years I s'pose is not too bad except it was good for so many years. It only seemed to go bad at the dock I have been at the last 5 years where I had to replace zincs every 4 months. So, having one made from stainless. I was hesitant about stainless but they say they use it on many boats. Thoughts? |
