Default Winter dreaming....

It's 10 degrees outside, and will get to 1 or two below tonight. And I
remind myself, that we only have to put up with about another 90 days
or so of this stuff, before it's time for me to dig out the boats.

Every time I go into the warehouse and look at them, I'm reminded of
how long the winter seems but actually how fast time really flies by.

Sometime (hopefully) in the near future, I'll be able to look at them
and say. "Ok, guys, lets go for a ride!"

It's cold here, too! 16 this morning, not going to get above freezing
today, got a little snow, which thawed on the roads, then froze into
ice.

I have this nightmare on occassion in which Winter lasts for 9 months
and the landscape is perpetually, interminably snow-covered. It's
hard to imagine that there are peoples that actually spend their lives
in that environ.

I'm with you. C'mon Spring!

J. I just saw a couple people pulling boats north to probably go
fishing at CIPS lake.

When I see that I just want to shake my head in disbelief.

I didn't to think to check the local motel when I drove by this
morning. But, you'll see boaters spending the night at the motel all
through the winter. It's a popular lake. But you're right, Tim.
They're diehards. I'll wait until March before I launch!

Yeah, it's a popular lake, but this time of year, so is hypothermia!

*UGH!*

Yes, March. Time for the washing and waxing and general pre-
maintenance for April.

The crappie will be biting like crazy at KY Lake in March. I'm going
to sneak down there for a weekend near the end of March. (The boat at
Town & Country Marina will need to be de-winterized, too.) And the
mushroom hunting in the Jonathon Creek area is pretty good around that
time.

I like CIPS, too, to be honest. I caught a 4lb bass this last summer,
and it was my only outing on the lake. And, it's a scenic lake, too.
