Regardless, it looks like people are stuck with what they have.

It's possible that some sellers would rather keep their boat or whatever
than to sell it to some opportunistic shark.

I haven't shopped ebay in a long time. Last time I looked, it seemed
full of sellers who used their other accounts or the accounts of their
friends to sell merchandise.

Gee, that's odd. I shop ebay a lot, and have never had any problems.
Of course, I know enough to not get hoodwinked.
