Most octopus I have eaten was closer to fish flavored gum.

My recollection is rubber bands. Except for one time in Tarpon Springs
when I had a Greek salad topped with fried calamari. Out of this world

I know of some little places in Tarpon off the tourist path where they
still don't speak much English, and the food is fantastic!
