Weren't the Humbolt squid in the news last year? I seem to recall they
were wreaking havoc with divers around San Diego, IIRC.

It tastes a lot better if it's called calamari. ;-) It's funny, though,
escargot still tastes like snails to me.

I like calamari if it's not cooked into rubber! Trouble is, many times
it is!

But Calamari is squid. And the best I have ever had is the pickled Calamari
that the North Beach Restaurant in North Beach, SF serves.
