Blackwater is the group protecting Hillary right now so somebody likes

Firstly, you don't know this for sure. She still has secret service
protection I believe. Secondly, BW no longer exists under that name.
Thirdly, their involvement should be shutdown, as they're a corrupt,
ultra-right-wing organization.

As sure as anything else I hear on CNN

There was still no reason why the actual screeners could not be
contracted and working under TSA guidance. The way it is, we own those
people forever, even if they came up with a lot less labor intensive
way to screen passengers. If anything, having 45,000 minimally
skilled employees, you can't fire, will stifle innovation. "Thinking"
was never a job requirement for this job.

Perhaps you'd like to blame someone? Go for it.

You can blame the Bush administration, no problem from me with that.

The Bush administration caved under Democrat pressure to 'protect' the
population.

Another stupid thing Bush did.

You, I've concluded, are truly among the stupid. Sorry, but it's clear.

John is far from dumb.

How do you tolerate Donnie? He's a real imbecile.

TSA

Again Jon Stewart points out things the real news missed

Obama still hasn't filled the office of director of TSA.

They have an acting director. It's not like there's no one in
charge.

I wonder why the Senate hasn't gotten around to it... perhaps it's
been
the
obstructionism going on by the Republicans, who are continually
threatening
the filibuster, even with Defense bills? Nah, couldn't be that...

The TSA is an executive branch department. Obama has to appoint the
director.
I am not even sure they have to be ratified by the senate at that
level. It would be a rubber stamp thing anyway.

It's an appointment and it needs to be approved by the senate. It's
being
held up, as I said, by the right-wing.

If you're not sure, look it up instead of guessing.

OK that was easy, there is no hit on TSA confirmation on Thomas.
There has not been a bill with those words introduced in the senate or
the house.
Now back to you. Who's confirmation IS being held up?

The Senate. Try again.

In any case, be it Obamanation hasn't submitted a name or the senate
hasn't got off their pork barrel asses, in either case it is a Democrat
issue.

Also untrue.

Only in your mind.

Fortunately, I have one.

Dumb, weak spin.

Try again...

There's probably more intelligence in her bowel movements than in what
you, herring, kreuger, and frog**** can put together collectively.
You're aligned with the teabaggers and sarah palin - the moron side.

Of course you would, Herr Krause. Keep digging though that fecal boli

Let's be real here...herring is a right-wing moron, krueger is an
ill-mannered buffoon, frog**** is about as politically sharp as a 2 x 4,
and you...almost your entire existence here has consisted of little boy
snipes at me.

In reality, there's more intelligence in a bowl of spaghetti sauce than

Absolutely right. Every director *must* have a deputy director,
assistant deputy director, administrative assistants, financial
controllers, staff, chiefs of staff, etc, etc, ad infinitum.

2,000 extra? How about the Joan Clabrooks and NHTSA and EPA?
How about the bean counter engineering from Wall Street?
Gold plated pensions must mean being able to afford anything but McDonalds.

McDonalds is no longer a valid representation of "cheap in comparison".
The other night we ordered two burgers and two fries, it came to 12
dollars. For the price of a meal (with desert) at McDonalds, now you can
sit down at several local establishments for a nice fresh cooked meal...

You have to learn to use their 'dollar menu' and drink 'senior
coffee'. Four chicken sandwiches and a cup of coffee for less than
five bucks. Take the chicken off two of the sandwiches, put it on the
other two. Now you've got two 'good' chicken sandwiches and a cup of
coffee for five bucks. Cheap.

Not that I would ever do that, of course.

Back in the 1960's we would buy a dozen McD burgers at 15 cents each. Take
them back to where we worked on our race cars and lived and toss a1/2-2/3 of
the buns and stack the extra paddies on the remaining buns. Made a decent
burger then. $0.20 for a shake. Talk about inflation.
