Do you believe it does so? Don't be so quick to paint all Christians with that broad brush. With what broad brush did I paint Christians? I've no problem with the pagan aspects of Christmas ****ing off some Christians. Just remember that the spiritual/religious aspects of Christmas are a violation of everything that is politically correct. Maybe the fact that a Nativity Scene commemorating the birth of Jesus is illegal to display in most places is ****ing some of them off also. Each to his own. If you get no joy from the Christmas season, and that makes you happy, then more power to you. Visit your local: Jehovah's Witness Most Church of Christ Many "Messianic Jews" Amish some Mennonites Many Church of God (all of them, at one time) Some Seventh Day Adventists... some celebrate Christmas, some don't, and some celebrate Christmas in months OTHER than Dec. other Mennonites (celebrate, but "buy nothing Christmas") Those are the ones that come to mind, now. There are more, I'm sure.... While you are at it, you could save this list and have the same conversation about Easter, but that doesn't seem to have developed as a hot button, yet. Maybe the first merchandiser that offers "Happy Bunny Day" will create as great a furor as the one offering "Happy Holidays." I don't have to ask to get questions answered.... you folks There it is, the "you folks"... Seems it's not "us folks" who are the problem, it's "your" family. Nobody pushes it around here to my family of myself, even my dad's Mormon friends. Guess you just need to get some friends who respect you more... Or like here, maybe you start in on it and they just finish the conversation?? are usually pretty "in your face" about what your Lord and God demandeth other folks shall know and follow.
