I've been into kerosene heaters for years. Have several, and use kero
lamps for a lot of illumination. Unfortunatly, kerosene is no longer
cheap like it used to be.

When I was a kid, we had a fuel oil stove. *Don't know if that was kerosene
or not. *My dad would always have a 5 gallon can of it. *When we'd get it
filled, it was a dollar something for 5 gallons. *I saw some kerosene at HD,
and it seems to me like it was about $7 a gallon.

Fuel oil is a lower grade than K-1 kerosene. We had a fuel oil heater
in our garage, There's a carburator on the back to regulate the fuel
flowing into the pot.
