Ever since the math professor from NM (Tharp, IIRC) wrote the book, and then they changed the table rules in Las Vegas, there has been a war against counters. Counting isn't cheating. It's used every day in poker, bridge, and countless other card games. But they do have the right to ask anyone to leave their private property for any reason. On any big win now at a casino, or even on a run of luck, you'll have people looking down your throat and up your a** before they pay you. I worked the "joints" in Vegas when "the boys" ran them. This corporate mentality sucks, and Las Vegas is one big carnie midway. Steve |
