Just had a call from a Charity asking me to donate some of my clothes to the
starving people throughout the world.

I told them to go to Hell.

Anybody who fits into my clothes isn't starving!

They were looking for cheap tents.

We always take our old stuff to Goodwill. Al least it is helping local
people.

When we were in 7 Springs skiing my old USCG foul weather jacket
finally gave up the ghost. I got a "new" coat at Goodwill in Conway
for $5.

Spiffy one huh?

That is probably the last time I will ever be in a place with a
temperature below 0c. I sure wasn't buying something for $300 at the
ski store

Nice beard!

Nearly all my clothes except underwear, shoes and socks comes from
Goodwill or a place like it. Lots of used clothing stores in Chicago.
My wife can almost live in them.
Never understood how she can spend hours going through clothes racks,
but I'm not complaining.
Daughter's got some of that, but no so bad.
She came home about a month ago not long after the wife had unloaded
some clothes there and told her ma, "I saw my blouse at Goodwill. I
wanted to keep that." hehe.

The couple of times I ventured into a local Sally Ann Goodwill or a Frenchys
outlet..I couldn't stand the smell of old dusty/musty clothing.
Guess I'll just have to get the most out of my store bought stuff.

You must not be married. I find that Purple Heart and the National
Children's Center are great ways to help clean stuff out of the house.
By getting your wife involved, closets and dressers get emptied (a
little), and someone gets some pretty decent stuff.

Please keep doing so, and spread the word. My son-in-law in Richmond
works for Goodwill.
