Gonna get ALL THE WAY DOWN to the 70s. Wind out of the north even.
Ideal time to take sailboat the 15 miles south and 20 miles west to a
yard to be hauled and painted. I even see red leaves on the wild
persimmon trees here in N. FL.

Pansy.

It was 47 this morning when I took the dog out.

Nothing that a moving van won't fix. ;-

We were out on Sunday all afternoon, it was in the upper 80s, and the
water was still nice for swimming. The wind did pick up later in the
afternoon, so coming back across the big water we were seeing 1 - 2
foot whitecaps. Fun ride!

reply: Had the boat hooked up and loaded yesterday. Today was forecast for
60 mph winds (which have not materialized as of 2PM) and supposed to drop
twenty degrees from high yesterday to the high tomorrow. So, was going
fishing.

Then the septic tank started acting up.

Oh, well ................

Overcast at the ocean. Got off a cruise from Vancouver to San Pedro a
couple days ago. Seattle and Canada was beautiful sunny weather. We had
overcast skies and 1-4' swells on the way south. The straights leaving
Victoria were the calmest I have ever seen. Wanted my boat. We were at
Port Alberni and calm, sunny and the coho salmon were jumping. About Point
Arena the seas kicked up and the fog set in. My house 40 miles from SFO was
105 degrees and SF was foggy. About 100' visability passing under the GG
bridge. To foggy for a chopper for a medical evacuation so the LA fireboat
did the extraction. Bad driver, too much side thrusters causing the boat to
rock violently when against the side of the ship. Bypassed Catalina as to
foggy to tender. San Diego, clear and hot. About 100+ at the zoo. Foggy
at San Pedro and coastside in L.A. in the mornings. We will be getting snow
in the mountains where it belongs in another month, but then the coast will
be at it's best.
