Default nice canoe trip

Went canoeing/kayaking today on the Chipola River near Marianna in N.
Florida. My wife is very tired from her radiation therapy so decided
ta last minute not to go so I had the 18' Grumman canoe alone while my
daughter was in her kayak. There were 6 other kayaks too. Canoe does
very well with only one person although I am so used to steering from
the stern I sat back there causing the bow o be high. Wind gusts
would pivot her like a wind vane.
River was still a little murky from rain yesterday but the springs
were crystal clear. It was a nice 10 mile trip with enough current to
make it easy and not too much paddling. We saw several small caves in
the banks the kids explored. A nice way to spend the day.

Sorry your wife is going through treatments. My wife did the same a
year ago and it all but knocked her down. She's doing much better now,
but still has to take blood work and today she went through some kind
of scoping were she had to drink some gawd-awful crap and has
temporary skin reactions.

But anyhow, it sounds like you had a good canoe trip. Up where I live
there isn't much of a place to go canoeing. I wish there was I'd like
to without going a couple a hundred or two miles.

We'll send you some gators, pythons and African Monitor Lizards.
That will liven up your creek.

Special, this week only, buy one, get one free.

Be the first on your block.

My wife had one of those monitor lizards (about 4 feet long) in the
garage of a house she was building over off Summerlin in Crown Colony.
She ran the thing out of the garage with a broom and some Mexicans
caught it. I imagine they took it home and ate it. I know they think
those Boca Grande iguanas are good eating.

Sounds like Florida should relax it's weapons carrying laws. A
buckshot loaded M-79 may be just the thing for folks down there to be
toting.
