Think 'bama and Wilson. The latter was being truthful. The former

not.

You're talking about the jerk who yelled in the joint session? He's
a
known
liar on several levels and he supported keeping the Confederate flag
flying.

Robert Byrd did the same kind of stuff, and he supported hangings.
--

John H

So, that makes Wilson's behavior ok? Sounds like some kind of
rationale?

What does Wilson's 'support' of flying the Confederate flag have to do
with his telling the truth? Talk about rationale.

The big question is whether or not you 'get it' yet? If not, sorry. If
so, then nothing further is necessary.

Firstly, he didn't "tell the truth." Secondly, it shows him to be what
he
is... a racist.

Oh, only a racist calls another person a liar when they lie.

Damn, learn something new daily.

John H

No, but this guy Wilson clearly has a problem with blacks.

He has a problem with liars. Just because they may be black doesn't
make him a racist for pointing out the fact.
--

John H

Maybe because he is a liar. He lied about being an immigration lawyer, for
example:

"We need to be discussing issues specifically to help the American people.
And that would not include illegal aliens, these are people-- I'm for
immigration, legal immigration, I've been an immigration attorney."

Wilson also cast a bunch of racial aspersions on the racially mixed
daughter of strom thurmond. All Wilson needs is a white sheet and
burning cross.

Isn't it interesting how interested the "righties" are about the "mix"
that makes up individuals? I told my kids once when they were really
little that black folks just had better tans than we did, and that was
the last time I ever got a question about skin color...which was fine,
because there are no differences of consequence. Except, of course, if
you are a southern white racist like several of our posters here.

agree that Wilson is a known racist and liar. I gave you an example of him
lying, and it looks like his slamming of Thurman's daughter pretty much
covers the racist part. But, keep deliberately misspelling his name if you
think that shows some honesty, judgement, arrogance, etc., on your part.
It
does show an agenda on your part, however.

Who or what Wilson is has no bearing. He simply identified a liar. Why
you use this in a discussion with Jim is beyond rationale.

As I said, claiming that a know liar has the same level of credibility as
the president isn't a "reasonable" argument. Wilson showed himself to be
both a liar and a racist. That pretty much puts him in the David Duke
category.

Whether Wilson is a 'known liar' or not is not the question. Even a
'known liar' makes true statements occasionally. In this case, Wilson
did so.

Now, quit acting like a four-year-old and accept facts.

If the man wants to lie and call himself black just so he can use the
race
card, thats his choice.
And, he used the race card when?

He has been using the race card from the gitgo. How the hell do you
think he got elected? It sure as hell wasn't from his experience. He
is behind every 'racist' attack, including Carters, that's been made.
He is doing a good job of 'pretending' to be above the fray, but trust
me - he's right there in the huddle making the calls.

Please show us once instance of Obama making race an issue during his
election.

He was elected by a majority of the people. Get over it.

He seems to be doing a pretty good job so far. I'm still waiting for you

I don't get it.

Think 'bama and Wilson. The latter was being truthful. The
former
was
not.

You're talking about the jerk who yelled in the joint session?
He's
a
known
liar on several levels and he supported keeping the Confederate
flag
flying.

Robert Byrd did the same kind of stuff, and he supported
hangings.
--

John H

So, that makes Wilson's behavior ok? Sounds like some kind of
rationale?

What does Wilson's 'support' of flying the Confederate flag have
to
do
with his telling the truth? Talk about rationale.

The big question is whether or not you 'get it' yet? If not,
sorry.
If
so, then nothing further is necessary.
--

John H

Firstly, he didn't "tell the truth." Secondly, it shows him to be
what
he
is... a racist.

Oh, only a racist calls another person a liar when they lie.

Damn, learn something new daily.
--

John H

No, but this guy Wilson clearly has a problem with blacks.

He has a problem with liars. Just because they may be black doesn't
make him a racist for pointing out the fact.
--

John H

Maybe because he is a liar. He lied about being an immigration lawyer,
for
example:

"We need to be discussing issues specifically to help the American
people.
And that would not include illegal aliens, these are people-- I'm for
immigration, legal immigration, I've been an immigration attorney."

Whether he was or was not an immigration attorney has no bearing on
his identification of a liar.

So, what you're saying is that known liars (Wilson) should be listened to
with the same credibility as the president of the United States? I don't
think so.

There was another liberal here famous for putting words in the mouths
of others.

I said, "Think 'bama and Wilson. The latter was being truthful. The
former was not."

That's not so hard, is it?

John H

And I said, show me some credible evidence that Obama has lied about the
proposed legislation. So far, you haven't said anything, except that even if
Wilson is a proven liar and racist, that "doesn't matter."

Sure. It's certainly possible for a known liar, or a criminal for that
matter, can tell or truth or not steal something. But, when you compare the
two, there's really little doubt. Obama has not been lying, Wilson has. He's
quite the darling of the right wing, much like that other liar Sarah Palin.

I said that when comparing the two, Wilson shows a deficit in that
department.
