Pretty respectable, for a Suzuki/Yamaha dealer. -- John H They should have paid for the whole thing. I guess you can't expect that since they are the "competition". Well, the damn tire's been on the bike for about two years. A friend told me the Suzuki drive shaft, on the bike so equipped, was on the left side of the bike. The Guzzi's is on the right. If the original mechanic looked at the brake and gears to make his determination, then I could see the confusion. They didn't have Guzzi manuals as they did no Guzzi service. (Which was probably why they sold Guzzis for only a year or so.) Of course, the mechanic could have just looked at the previous tire. But then again, maybe he was *real* bright and thought that one was mounted backwards. Bottom line - I should have checked. I thought ten bucks was a pretty good deal, as I had no reciept or anything. -- John H |
