Picked up a free fiberglass row boat. It's been sitting in the weather for
many years and now the fibers in the fiberglass are exposed. The whole
bottom shines real nice in the sun and the fibers stick in the arms real
good. Anyway, is it feasable to repair it or will it ever float again? I
heard once they've gotten to the point this one is, it'll sink more than
float. Thanks.

If pretty isn't important you could just roll resin over it and follow
up with paint. Just be sure it is good and clean before you start,
sand it *and wipe it down with acetone to open up the existing finish.

Be sure you have a good respirator and gloves. This is nasty stuff

Easy to repair. You need a two part epoxy-like paint. I use
something called WR155 that is no lojnger available but anything
similar should work. Roll it on thin. You may need about a quart.
Sand her first with medium paper on your electric sander.
