Picked up a free fiberglass row boat. *It's been sitting in the weather for
many years and now the fibers in the fiberglass are exposed. *The whole
bottom shines real nice in the sun and the fibers stick in the arms real
good. *Anyway, is it feasable to repair it or will it ever float again? *I
heard once they've gotten to the point this one is, it'll sink more than
float. *Thanks.

If pretty isn't important you could just roll resin over it and follow
up with paint. Just be sure it is good and clean before you start,
sand it *and wipe it down with acetone to open up the existing finish.

Be sure you have a good respirator and gloves. This is nasty stuff

Easy to repair. You need a two part epoxy-like paint. I use
something called WR155 that is no lojnger available but anything
similar should work. Roll it on thin. You may need about a quart.
Sand her first with medium paper on your electric sander.
