A real "functional" individual Mr. Cheney. Constitution? He's closer to factual adherence than 1) his boss, 2) Clinton or all of any congress in 50 yearrs. He didn't expose anyone - check the widely available public information. Torture hasn't happened, but it SURE the hell should. Televised. Sorry facts make you appear deficient. The reality is, you, like most "Americans" have your panties in a wad with the democrat vs republican thing. That's the root of your delusion. Dick Cheney has only one interest... his interest. He continually put himself above the law, and he certainly condones both the outing of an undercover CIA operative and certainly was a party to the torture that went on. If you're unwilling to believe that waterboarding is torture, I'm sure there's someone available to try it on you. It's very clear what your delusion is, I'm sorry but I can't help you with that. ****, did I miss something else? Did someone ask you for help? Is a threat to a family member 'torture'? Is waving an unloaded pistol in your face 'torture'? Suppose someone just looked at you with their eyes crossed. Would that qualify as 'torture'? If you liberals are so worried about people, why not do something for the poor, instead of just making them more poor? Yeah but the terrorist ACLU took covert pics of CIA agents and their families and showed them to AlQueda, but the libs don't really care about that, after all, it's just a few innocent Americans being outed.. Real covert agents, not some socialite elitist who brags at tea parties.. Hoooboy........ unhinged just isn't a capable word for this! What the hell is the problem.. FACT: The ACLU took pictures of covert CIA agents and their families, and showed them to prisoners in Gitmo. They admitted it on their website, what is so hard to understand about that??? But at the same time you are worried about a non-covert, self outed, Washington Socialite who uses her CIA position to gain favor of the chattering class... unbelievable.. If you are just going to dismiss printed, verified facts, it's just useless. So the ACLU are "terrorists"?????????? In my opinion, yes... True, I remember being called a terrorist right here in rec.boats by the right wingers. Cite, please? -- John H |

Bedwetters can't deal with functional individuals in a faux "country." That is one of the funniest comments I have ever seen on usenet. Dick Cheney is a traitor, a man who ought to be investigated, indicted, tried and if found guilty, convicted of any number of felonies. How's the Thorazine supply? If what you babbled were true in anyone's fantasy, the scum in congress would have done something about it. Congress doesn't prosecute war crimes from what I understand. That'll be the AG's job. I don't think Cheney would mind being locked up. Between his man-size safe and the bunker in which he's spent so much time, the guy doesn't seem to mind small spaces. He won't have the freedom to head off to Wyoming tho'. Wouldn't that be a shame. |

The problem is........ FACTS! Please post a citation that shows: 1) CIA agent's families were photographed 2) that the ACLU showed the photographs to the detainees 3) that any laws were broken. If what you described actually happened, I'd be ****ed and somebody, maybe LOTS of somebodies ought to be headed straight to jail. However, the only thing I can verify is that the photos were taken by researchers hired by the John Adams Project, a joint effort of the American Civil Liberties Union and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, to SUPPORT MILITARY COUNSEL. The rest of the allegations are, as far as I can determine, unsubstantiated. Here is some information: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...l?hpid=topnews http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009...tmo-detainees/ Yup, and their front page (aclu.org) last week had a link to an article stating that they did just that, but were sure it was not illegal... Or maybe they already have assurances from Holden... no, that would never happen. snerk So now you are against someone trying to support military lawyers?????? Why, because they are liberal?? Again, why not answer, where are the cites for these alleged photos of CIA agents families? Where are the cites for the allegations that the ACLU showed said photos to detainees at Gitmo? Do you really think that they could get away with something like that??? No, and I hope they will not. But if it is reported as much as the recent ACORN tapes, no mention in the MSM, the result will be the same. Are you going to answer the questions? YOU said that the ACLU took pictures of CIA agents and their families and showed them to the detainees at Gitmo. Do you really think that could happen and there'd be no documentation, no resistance from government officials, no complaints by the alleged CIA agents or their families? Don't you get it... There was complaints by the CIA, ignored, there was resistance from Government officials, ignored by the congressional leadership, there were complaints, you just need to expand your news intake to someone who is not actively campaigning for Obama policy... -- Wafa free since 2009 |

The right wing has spoon fed the lies, therefore even if the are lies, they'll repeat them thousands of times. did you read his links, where did I lie??? You guys are amazing, not only don't you read or follow our posts, you don't even read your own cites... Did you read my statement to Gene? I never said YOU lied. I said it is a lie that the ACLU took pictures of CIA agents and their families and showed them to detainees at Gitmo And I say it's not, as long as "is, is still is"... A group arm of the ACLU took pictures and those pictures were shown to alleged enemies of the state, taken on the field of battle... That is outing covert agents, the pics were taken outside their homes. That, the ACLU freely admitted on their homepage link, last week... Cite? I went to the ACLU site and they have obviously taken it down since the investigation started. I am not going to dig any further, either call me a liar, or search further, either way, you don't read what I cite anyway so I guess I am too busy... -- Wafa free since 2009 |
