Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega. 4. Kissed Socialist Hugo Chavez on the cheek. 5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia . 6. Sided with Hugo Chavez and Communist Fidel Castro against Honduras . 7. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no pre-conditions while they're building their nuclear weapons. 8. Gave away billions to AIG also without pre-conditions. 9. Expanded the bailouts. 10. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian. 11. Doubled our national debt. 12. Announced the termination of our new missile defense system the day after North Korea launched an ICBM. 13. Released information on U.S. Intelligence gathering despite urgings of his own CIA director and the prior four CIA directors. 14. Accepted without comment that five of his cabinet members cheated on their taxes and two other nominees withdrew after they couldn't take the heat. 15. Nationalized General Motors and Chrysler while turning shareholder control over to the unions and freezing out retired investors who owned their bonds. Committed unlimited taxpayer billions in the process. 26. Passed a huge energy tax in the House that will make American industry even less competitive while costing homeowners thousands per year. 27. Announced nationalized health care "reform" that will strip seniors of their Medicare, cut pay of physicians, increase taxes yet another $1 trillion, and put everyone on rationed care with government bureaucrats deciding who gets care and who doesn't. Bloomberg: Daschle says, "Health care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them," while former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm says seniors have "a duty to die." -- John H Typical and extremely expected of you...... |

Honestly, I don't see how you could be so angry at his so-called arrogance, lying, etc., since he's mostly just a center-left politician. I would think you would have been much angrier with Bush when he was president, given all of the same things you accuse the current president of, Bush certainly did. Were you much angrier then? Are we seeing your better side now? Were all the variations of Bush's name based on some deep-seated, fearful racism? Please show me where I *******ized Bush's name? I didn't and never will. While I despised him while he was president and wish to see him and Cheney thrown in jail for their crimes, I still respected the office. If my child had an opportunity to listen to him speak, I wouldn't prevent it or complain about it. In fact, Reagan, Clinton, and both Bushs did exactly that... spoke to kids. I'm totally disgusted by the low-brow reaction to a sitting president. If you can't see any arrogance, lying, etc., then further discussion is pointless. I doubt if you can see *anything* the slightest bit wrong with anything Obama has done. So, again, you refuse to answer the question. Show me where I *******ised Bush's name? No answer. I can see the arrogance of the right-wing nutcases who grasp at anything to "win." It was ok when Bush arrogantly talked about the war and then when back to his 1/3 of his presidency vacation... That's right 1000 days on vacation. But, Obama going on a short vacation, that's horrible, horrible. Further discussion is certainly pointless if you're unwilling to actually identify Obama's supposed arrogance or malfeasance. He's been in office just a short time. He inherited a war in Afganistan that had no strategy. He's formulating his policies and procedures, but it's all his fault. You continually claim that I don't ever see anything wrong with what Obama has done, which is absolutely false. I've said many times, even though you refuse to see it, that all presidents, all elected officials should be held to high standards. If you're just a troll, please feel free to let me know, and I'll stop bothering to have a rational discussion. -- Nom=de=Plume So be it. I didn't say you *******ized Bush's name. To my knowledge, unless you're an 'oldie' here with a 'pen name', you weren't here when the Bush bashing was at its height. Be back in a week. -- John H "BEND OVER - The 'change' is coming!" Again, I didn't say you *******ized Bush's name, so why do you expect me to go searching for proof that you did. I've not seen you disagree with anything Obama has done, thus the comment. Saying, "...all elected officials should be held to high standards" does not express disagreement with anything Obama has done. -- John H Then, you haven't read some of my posts. Take another look. And, yes it does, since Obama is not perfect. -- Nom=de=Plume |

I have to agree. There certainly was a LOT of BAD behavior by opponents when Bush was in office, but this goes beyond the pale. Even in this newsgroup are many instances of outright lies, hate, anger, and uncalled racist posts.
