I do not think including this was an accident but was
intentional. If
this passes, ALL small businesses, the driver of our economy will be
forced to close because we all make mistakes and will be fined the
maximum amount. I believe this inclusion was intentional to destroy
the US economy and force us into socialism.

first of all, the WSJ is hardly an objective source. it's a cheering
section for the folks who got us into this mess in the first place
further, it's their goal to oppose ANY provisions which level the
playing field in favor of the middle class. one person has called the
"WSJ" 'quaintly reactionary'. and it is.
Ad hominem argument.
said the only man in america who doesn't know the political
orientation of the WSJ.
hint: it aint the 'pennysaver'.
The WSJ, Forbes, Investors...et cetera, all push the extreme right wing
position at all times.

Meanwhile, Obama gives $2 billion to an oil company in Brazil whose
main shareholder is ..........George Soros. This is while the Dems
forbid offshore drilling here.

It's far from the quick fix some on the right think it is, nor is it a
guarantee of oil independency

Drilling in our own oil fields will keep the money we spend on oil
within the US. It will also reduce the need for tankers to traverse the
waters where pirates are known to operate.

Drilling in our own oil fields has many benefits.

The IRS has long had the capacity, under the beneficent oversight of
our glorious lawmakers, to make criminals of innocent citizens.
This
is why a national sales tax as opposed to a personal income tax
is an
imperative. Having owned a manufactuing concern for a number of
years, I'm all too well aware of the unwarranted burden the
government
has put on small business and the individual through the vehicle
of an
indifferent government agency. It's a repugnant oppression of the
individual, and the "compassionate" Left wants to enhance our
individual tax experience. The IRS should be dismantled if for no
other reason than to take it out of the hands of the politician as a
conveniently persistent political issue. Whatever happened to that
country of liberty that our founding fathers fought so hard to
create?

Do you actually believe it will be an either or situation? If the
Obamadytes get a national sales tax they will give up the income tax?
That is exactly the argument made in Indiana in the 1966, when a 2%
sales tax was approve. In return the personal property tax on
auto was
eliminated. HOWEVER with in a couple of years auto were again
subject
to a high tax with a different name.
Net results Indiana now has a 7% sales tax and you pay several
time the
what you use to pay for the personal property tax on your auto
(based on
the price of the auto) to get it licensed.
What I wrote was what I believe to be a necessary alternative to the
current tax structure. I know intuitively that our government will
never surrender or dramatically overhaul the tax system as it stands.
It's too convenient of a tool and a weapon for our politicians, for
those that are proponents of expanded government and those that
aren't.

Here is more about the lefts attempts to actively destroy the economic
engine so as to force us into socialism:
http://www.forbes.com/2009/08/19/fac...ve-forbes.html

Destroy Venture Capital and you destroy any chance of a new Google or
Apple, etc. Sooner or later, everybody will have to work for the govt.
Yes, and don't forget, we want to kill your elderly with a death
panel, make devil worship the official religion, let all criminals go
free, lock up all Christians, destroy families, and kill work ethic,
and on and on and friggin on......

It's funny how you take fringe people and paint all mainstream repubs
with the brush.. I don't paint you with Bill Ayers, Crazy Enfume, Al
Sharpton, and any of the hundred or so other real haters in congress
or millions in the country. It wouldn't be fair to do that to anyone...

Scotty!!! You have stated right HERE that there's a "death panel" and
that liberals want to take elderly off of life support. John has done
the same. Besides, you and John also paint all liberals with the same
brush, so why is it wrong if I do it, but okay if you do? Oh, I
remember, conservative = good, liberal = bad.

Why did they take the death panel's out of the legislation if they
didn't exist?

NOPE, can't speak for John, but I have not done that.. I have given you
lists on both sides.. period. You are painting me with some of the more
vocal rithties in the group. Good honest people that they are I consider
it a compliment, but I did not do what you say I did...

Who said these:?
These included such items of tort reform, cross state purchasing, and
several other items Liberals don't want...

Here you go man, just one video of what the democrats call "Patriots"...

The Democrats in Congress didn't want Republican-inspired legislation to
pollute the bill?

Nope. It's a global oil market. Econ 101.

Only a tiny, tiny percentage of tankers have a problem with pirates. Of
course, if you even took 5 minutes to check, you would find the facts.

You should call your doctor and see if you can get your meds changed.
Else, check yourself into the NE Florida State Hospital. You'd do
better there than at the hospital in Chattahoochee. :)

In Macclenney...

That where you are traveling for your the death panel hearing?

No, Bilious...I have *high quality* health insurance. The panel will come
to me. I understand they're going to meet you at the shape-up lot at Home
Depot.

I have great insurance. And what really ****es you off is your wife who
works is paying for it.

BS, everyone knows, or should, the economy runs better under a Democratic

What works is a hybrid system.

Here's an example.

Switzerland is probably the most capitalistic country on the planet. Yet
it has a national health care program with several rungs on that ladder
for coverage, and a plethora of private supplemental programs you can
buy if you wish.

No one calls Switzerland a "socialistic" country.

Sadly, in this country, we are plagued with tens of millions of
virtually illiterate simpletons who tend to believe the sort of nonsense
righties are dumping on them in order to try to defeat significant
health care reform. They're tools, pawns, if you will, in the game to
maintain the status quo for the very wealthy. We have a handful of those
pawns in this very newsgroup.

Those illiterate simpletons Are the ones that got your boy where he is
today. Hope and change.Thats his bumper sticker. That's his platform.
That's all he had to say, and the simpletons bought it. Now the strategy
is change and hope. Brilliant! How's that working out for you WAFA?
