You'll hitch your wagon to anything, doesn't matter if it's made up. Do you recognize the fallicy in your logic when you base conclusions on assumptions that conveniently fit your prejudices? "When my father was 80, he had a hip replaced, under Bozomacare I suspect they would not do so because an 80 yr old prob would not live long enough to get any use out of it." This is the sort of strawman fear mongering that has no basis in reality but, like Limbaugh, if you can construct that strawman and create some circular references, you're home free with a baseless attack on whomever. Logic is on display for sure, bassackwards as it might be. |

Soooooo much concern about the debt we're creating taking care of ourselves. Didn't matter when we were spending trillions on bullets and bombs. These people who you're arguing with are part of the 20% who still believe the Republicans are on the right track. Rachael Maddow had a brilliant segment on the other night, a metaphor for the Republican interest in passing health care reform. If you haven't seen it, I'd highly recomend you look for her pizza segment on MSNBC. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/ Go to August 18th under the Previous Shows section and look for the pizza segment. Perfect. |
