Some people think these are great and some think they are a waste of money to mount on an outdrive or outboard. Vote to use or not use on a pontoon boat for waterskiing? http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...tNum=&classNum They are to help a boat get up on plane. Sort of like trim tabs. I do not think they will help at all on a pontoon boat. I agree. I nave never seem it and we have a bunch of pontoon boats here. Pontoons are really not that good a ski boat since they are pretty slow to come up on the step. We do have a lot of folks dragging around tubes tho. OK. I have a 60hp motor and my friends want to waterskii but the boat I have is what I have. I told them the same things. Thanks guys. Mike |
