Aside from that, around here Comcast owns the cable TV and cable
internet. Don't think they want to stop billing for both.
I recall seeing gov hearings cable ala carte and other cable issues a
few years ago. All bull**** that got nowhere.

One of my first cell phones hooked directly to my laptop and became a
router to the internet for my browser.. Soon after that they figured out
how to seperate the two services and charge for both of them...

My cell phone hooks directly to my laptop and if I want to, I can use
the cell to dial-up one of my ISP's and get on the internet, albeit slowly.
