Due to your good advice, I've got enough money to buy three, count

Maybe
I'll have a couple hot dogs too.
How are you going to pay for the colonoscopy?
Medicare! Yippee! I feel wealthy.

Why would you care about medical costs? Haven't you been riding on
'Uncle Sams' back all your life?
I can see how you would feel that way never having been in the
military. But you know what? In some of the places I've been I
couldn't have found any other kind of medical care anyway. So I had to
have those nasty military doctors taking stuff out of me.
But I do appreciate your concern and advice.

Well, seems our friends have been busy. I come home after a great
weekend of racing with The Mouse and find 430 message headers to
download.. Actually I only got 296 of them as the others must have
been posted (over a holiday weekend) by the residents of my bin...
Looks like somebody didn't have anything to do or anybody to spend
the fourth with.. snerk

I just got back to find 1400 new headers. Filtering HK got rid of over
400. I wish there were some way to filter the 'responses'. It's a
shame more people can't resist his lures.

Well, sure there is.. Put:
"HK"
in your filters to dump any message with either the quoted HK or the
bracketed email address in the filter for the body of the message. Most
readers quote and bracket those so it should knock out any post that has
responded to him... I am going to try it now and see how it works, I
will let you know..

I see the fat piece of **** put a space between the H and the K. What a

Never quite understood why anybody would filter.
I tried it once in the ASA group when it was over run by flonkers, and
with Agent it slows down update of the headers in the group.
And no matter what reader, or if it happens server-side,
the parsing will slow things down.
My headers are sorted subject/time, and it's very easy to delete
entire subjects or posters with the mouse.
Never more than a few clicks, and just maybe I want to read something
because of a poster/subject combination.
I never felt I had to read anything I don't want to read.
Why let a filter censor what I can read?
Do I have free will?
Or not?
Just seems childish to me.
But maybe others find it useful because of their readers/tools.

I find the filters very useful... One thing I hate is getting a few
lines into a response only to find it's one of the pink army regulars
and I have wasted my time. With all of the people in the world I can't
for the life of me think of anything they can tell me, I need or want to
know. If it's important, I will get it from someone else or find it
myself without the prejudice and slime...
