"President Obama struggled to explain today whether his health care
reform proposals would force normal Americans to make sacrifices that wealthier, more powerful people — like the president himself — wouldn’t face." "Devinsky asked the president pointedly if he would be willing to promise that he wouldn’t seek such extraordinary help for his wife or daughters if they became sick and the public plan he’s proposing limited the tests or treatment they can get. The president refused to make such a pledge, though he allowed that if “it’s my family member, if it’s my wife, if it’s my children, if it’s my grandmother, I always want them to get the very best care.["] ObamaCare for thee, but not for me? What a hypocrite. Oh - by the way - did y'all know that Federal and State employees will have their own seperate insurance plans under ObamaCare? That will include low co-pays, full pharm/doc/dental/major medical coverage and exemption from having to be part of ObamaCare? Think about that for a while. |

You and the rest of the Elmer Gantry-ites seem completely misinformed on this issue. First, it is uncertain there will be a "public plan," if by that you mean a health insurance plan offered directly by the federal government. Second, if there is a public plan, its details are unknown. Third, if there is a public plan, no one will be forced into it. Fourth, federal employees already have a separate health insurance plan that includes low co-pays, and pretty complete coverage. It's been around for decades. Lots of insurance companies participate it it. Your new-found buddy here, Herring, the guy you told me on the phone was the worst poster in rec.boats, is a participant. Perhaps you should write about Husqvarna tractors...another subject about which you know next to nothing. |

And no, Harry, I'm not a participant in your separate health insurance plan with lots of insurance companies. There, you've gotten my monthly response to your stupidities. -- John H "HONK - if I'm paying your mortgage!" |

I really hate to say this, but you are quite possibly the dumbest, most ill-informed example of liberal philosophy to ever grace the innertubes. I thought those morons on Kos were stupid - you're light years beyond them in crass, brainless drooling. As a matter of fact, I might put you right up at the top of the list as "Dumbest Possibly Drunkest Most Addled Ill Informed and Incompetent Internet Contributor Ever" if it weren't for the fact that your thread chat buddy jps leads the list - albeit in a different category. Look - I'm there for you - anytime you want help with your abuse problem or want a referral to a good psychiatrist, I'm sure my daughter would be glad to refer you to the best. Considering your dire financial straits (I mean you can't be making that much money, you spend all your time on rec.boats), I'm sure she could swing a charity referral for you - top shelf too - only the best for my friends. Well, you aren't really my friend - more like a pimple on a hemorrhoid in a infected fissure (ok, I know it's early - I'll translate for you - it's a lengthy way of saying Pain In The Ass), but I do what I can for the less fortunate and if there is anybody posting on this newsgroup that is less fortunate in many areas of interpersonal communications complicated by over arching psychiatric "issues", it's you. Ah - good deed done for the day. Upwards and onwards. |

Why, thank you. Coming from a right-wing troglodyte like you, that's high praise indeed. I'm sure JPS will also be pleased by your compliments. Perhaps you might enlighten us some more with your vast knowledge of the universe, even though most of what you seem to know is dead wrong. Your head is so far up your ass, I'm sure you can use your nose to breathe through your mouth. Your real problem with me, aside from my politics, is that I *question* your pronouncements, and that is something you cannot tolerate. Weren't you leaving for some job or employment or consulting? Or was that more of your bull****, Tom? This isn't the set of "No Exit," Tom, nor is it the Hotel California. You can check out anytime you like, and you can leave. And take your BFFs Herring, Justhate, and Jackoff with you. Their stench is overwhelming, and so is yours. |

By the way, despite your insistence, there is no firm proposal for the so-called public option for health care/health insurance. There are many proposals floating around. Despite your denials, there is a very successful program that offers a variety of health plans to federal employees. Oh, and while we are at it: you lied when you boasted about the fuel burn of your etec outboard, you mistakenly bought a 25" shaft outboard for your 20" transom boat (and then tried to recover from your ignorance by installing a jack plate), and you don't know **** about Husqvarana tractors. The list of crap you've floated in here is endless. When are you taking your ball off the court here and leaving in your usual snit for a couple of days or weeks? When will it be time to sneak back in with a new set of handles? |
