Conservatives for Patients Rights, the "group" that's all over the TV
trying to fight off health plans that may compete with insurance
companies, is headed by Rick Scott.

In case you don't know the name:

"Scott founded the Columbia Hospital Corporation in 1987, but was ousted
by the company's board of directors in 1997 in the midst of the nation's
biggest health care fraud scandal, which involved alleged Medicaid and
Medicare fraud.

"In 2001, HCA reached a plea agreement with the U.S. government that
avoided criminal charges against the company and included $95 million in
fines. In late 2002, HCA agreed to pay the U.S. government $631 million,
plus interest, and pay $17.5 million to state Medicaid agencies, in
addition to $250 million paid up to that point to resolve outstanding
Medicare expense claims. In all, civil law suits cost HCA more than $1.7
billion to settle, including more than $500 million paid in 2003 to two
whistleblowers."

Yep...the same Rick Scott. Corporationist.

Please note that Interstate 90 will be closed this weekend across
South Dakota. This closure will allow the Federal Government free
