Greek style pan pizza is pretty good too. I like it the way you do. Never had the Greek style. A friend of mine has a joint in Chicago and when talking to him about it he says the cheese available here is not the same. Also, I like sausage and nothing here compares favorably to Chicago for me. Here the green peppers, mushrooms and onions are ok, but you can't make a pizza to suit my taste with just those. The big hang-up for me is the cheese, too "watery" and makes the curst all soggy. I've had some good thin crust here, but the cheese spoils it. I hope to have Pauley's report shortly. I'm getting hungry...if I wasn't headed for the golf course I may have gone there for lunch. |

Renna's Argyle Village Square 6001 Argyle Forest Blvd., Suite 16 904.771.7677 Don't know what it is like now, but 11 years ago :) it was pretty damned good NY-style pizza. Homemade sauce, too. But I still long for a clam pie from Pepe's in New Haven, and a visit afterwards to one of the Italian bakeries in the neighborhood. |

Cheers I thought when people get to your age, they like to forget about their birthdays. You do have a thinking problem, don't you. Matter of fact we spent the afternoon at Disney and had a nice time. What do you do on your birthday? Not here yet, but when it arrives I'll be as old as your buddy in the music business. Wrong answer. Here is a perfect example of what I was talking about. It was a simple question. There were only seven uncomplicated words in it. I'll give you another chance. What do you do on your birthday? It was almost a year ago Numbnuts......... probably enjoyed it with my family. Yada yada yada. You still didn't answer the question. Have you been taking lessons from Harry? So, we're playing games here eh? If you really want to know...I was busy being 'born' on my birthday! Oh my. You are really having a hard time with this, aren't you? Let me help you out. Do you get the family together and sing happy birthday? Do you have a favorite thing you customarily do? In other words, "What do you do on your birthday" Christ. Your birthday will be over before you figure out how to answer the question. Them what calls you dumb might be on to something. Well, one think I don't do on my birthday is... suffer fools gladly! Before you make such a revealing statement you should understand what it means. Here's some help. http://bible.cc/2_corinthians/11-19.htm |

I really like good Chinese but it is difficult to find in South Florida. I have three essential tests for a restaurant before I will try it: It has to smell right when you open the door; There should be ample numbers of Chinese help working there; and ideally there should be a fair number of Chinese patrons. |

Your opinion may be different, but you are just wrong. ;) Part of the reason NYC pizza is so good, is the NYC water. Below is a link from a LA native who used to think NYC people were snobs about their pizza, until he went to NYC and tasted their pizza. I am sure Pepe's is good, it just isn't the best. There I said it, and i feel much better. Now when Pepe's opens his store in Yonkers, he might finally perfect his really good pizza. http://slice.seriouseats.com/archive...rspective.html -- Reginald P. Smithers III, Esq.
