Finally - justice.

Only it's not enough - $5 is a better figure.

"Beer is proof God loves us."

Benjamin Franklin

My state (Utah) changed its liquor laws this year. It now allows for liquor
by the drink instead of the archaic "clubs", and all that falderal. It also
has changed the laws regarding home beer brewing so that any person can brew
up to 200 gallons without doing anything special tax wise or registering
with the government wise, or otherwise. I have no clue how they monitor the
amount a person brews.

I am considering setting up a microbrewery and trying it.

Damn stuff in the stores is getting ridiculous. In the state liquor store
system, a bottle of regular strength beer is about $1.50 a bottle. "Near
beer" is sold at the convenience stores, but will give you a bladder
explosion before a buzz. The state is historically against drinking, but
really in favor of the taxes and income from the infidels and "Jack Mormons"
who drink.

I just stop in Mesquite, Nevada, at a real liquor store and stock up.
Liquor prices in Utah at the State owned stores run about 40% higher than
normal states, and selection sucks.

May be able to avoid federal taxation altogether unless they put hefty taxes
on the ingredients. Then, I'll probably go to hydroponic herb. Medical
reasons, of course.

Homebrew. That's the answer to a LOT of problems!
Saw a T-shirt that had a picture that looked like the puzzle on Wheel
of Fortune. It had the following on it, I'll use a _ for the blank
spaces:
AL_OHOL

Underneath it said "Sometimes alcohol IS the answer"!

I was always humoured by the t-shirts in the mid 70's.

Yep! I actually browsed some "vintage" 70's t-shirts the other day!
