And his band kicks ass! ----------------------------------------------- I had a great experience yesterday. Met up with a guy who started a local band many years ago (he's 47 years old now). They have slowly been gaining some national recognition and are in the process of doing their first CD album. He came over to the house and we ended up jamming for about 2 hours. He does virtually any kind of music and was really very, very good. I had fun just trying to jam along with him because I am not close to being in his league. Played the electrics for a while, then switched over to the Taylor 6 and 12 strings and he helped me along through a bunch of James Taylor songs. Mrs. E. came in my "studio" to listen to us and was really impressed. So was I. It actually sounded decent and was a lot of fun. here's his band: http://www.connectedtheband.com/ Eisboch |

That's one reason why I like taking lessons from the right person, you can learn SO much just hanging and jamming with someone better than you are! I like their sound, and the lady is very a very good singer. They may make it, seems like a unique sound is always best when trying to get a big recording contract! |
