Just got an EMAIL from Jamestown Distributors describing their new
line of trolling motors. The "2.0" model is claimed to have 121 lbs of static thrust which is comparable to a gas outboard in the 4 to 6 hp range. There is also a "4.0" with 215 lbs of thrust, equivalent to something like 8 to 10 hp. Unfortunately they are not cheap as you might imagine: http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=51070 http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=52926 |
